Groundwater is a vital resource for drinking water in coastal Alabama, especially for those that depend on private wells for drinking water and household needs. A team of researchers at Auburn University and the University of Alabama in Huntsville in cooperation with private well users in coastal Alabama and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System are working together to better understand stresses on coastal groundwater for private well users. This is an interactive platform where you can explore trends in groundwater quality and connect with resources to learn more about private well stewardship.
